Publication of Statement of Common Ground relating to Housing Distribution following NPPF and new Standard Method published December 2024 (December 2025)

A Statement of Common Ground (SoCG) relating to housing distribution following the NPPF and new Standard Method published in December 2024, has been prepared jointly by the nine local authorities in Leicester and Leicestershire.

The SoCG will be considered through all partners’ respective governance processes in the coming months and is informed by an Updated Housing Distribution Paper, a piece of evidence commissioned by all nine authorities.
